All of these machines, regardless of make, model or geographical position are ‘not’ forklift trucks. Current local authority enforcement requires documentary evidence in the spirit of the OHS Act (1984) [WA]. Such evidence is usually referred to as [detailed and recorded] ‘’duty of care’’ training or in the form of a properly constructed VOC.
General enforcement practices would seek three separate items of evidence to operate: A valid LF licence, a valid CN licence if fitted with telescoping boom) in accordance with the OHS Regulations, and relevant and specific workplace training and assessment evidence, in accordance with the OHS Act with special attention given to section 19 (1) (b) (1984) in a tangible effort to ensure the operator understands each different machine; he or she will in fact will be asked by the employer to operate.
Charges $285.00 per VOC includes small Pre-Assessment written module prior to course attendance on your site.
